hmm something I forgot and the reason I asked earlier about leaky case or not....the "worst case" if the case is pretty leaky might not be the worst case at all since lots of opportunity for air to escape might mean flow through top is actually good...

In the end I guess you should try a couple of configurations and see

If you have room for fan in the bottom great...you can use it to balance intake and exhaust whatever config. you choose. Add a bit more exhaust might help flow in through top as you have things now...

    Hi Arne

I'm back again to ask question

Finnally It's impossible for me to put the fans inside (no place due to RAM)

So now i'm in the so called "best case"

But do you really consider "air intake" when the intake fans are with a rad? I mean because of the rad, the air enter into the case very poorly.

The direct air intake comes from the front fan only

Now I wonder if I should place an Intake fan in the side or exhaust.

(I have now a SLI 780TI cards) It begin to be very hot in there

    Hi doranbz!

Yeah still intake..I know the RAD takes some of the flow out of the air but not so much...

At the side, if the position of your case allows, make the fan exhaust...will take hot air from around GPUs straight out and increase flow top down through RAD a bit too....

well, the chips are almost every one tested when the leave the fabric but even in some cases there may be some chips that do not work properly so u perhaps have one of those chips that is faulty

I think the key to cooling is air flow. If your airflow is good then your cooling will be good too.

I like to have the cool air coming into the case from the front and from the top. In Arne diagram on the other pages, the air being pulled into your case through the radiator, with good exhaust fans venting the hot air out the back is the best way.

Two cards in SLi is going to add to the heat big time so you do want to pull cool air into the top of the case through the radiator.

    Hi everybody, Arne!

As promised I let you know about the installation of a side 200mm fan

Indeed, it's seems to work great
My max Cpu Temp are 60 full charge now

    I plugged into CHa_Fan2 with a 3 pins molex

I can't control it in FanXpert is it normal?

Nice one dorianbz! Sounds good to me...

The fan and header I'm not sure about. Maybe has to be PWM to be controled. Should be able to set a crude voltage based profile in BIOS?...like duty mode or some such?

As you can see, there is no mention about any Cha_FAN2 only about the 1

and the rest is for the OPT_FAN

Anyway when I full charge the fan speed increase so it's controled but I can't chose

    I edit because I ****ed
I updated my bios and i lost my config
I remember most of the config I made (vcore, xpm profile)

But Now my temp are higher than 60

I guess it's the load line calibration that is not correctly configured

Can you tell me what is the best to set? I put a 1.30 vcore , 1.312 full charge

I tend to use a mid level LLC for my builds. I like the design feature that is vDroop as I believe it still does a good job of protecting the CPU regardless how good the VRM design is on motherboards.
