2 gtx 680s 4GB classified or a Titan for upgrade
Hi folks ,I've been away for a while but with dragon age 3 coming in October I would like to upgrade my video cards so I come to the Rog forum for some suggestions.
I have been running a pair of 2 GB VANILLA EVGA 680s for about a year and feel the hardware itch to upgrade them. Since I could fetch around 500 for them going to 4GB 680s wouldn't break the bank. I'm also considering a Titan.
As this game will reportedly stress modertly high powered systems I think I would like to have more video card memory available just in case. I do want to have max settings of course.
What do you Guy's think . A pair of classified 680s or a Titan.??Maximus VII Apex

but they all come at a price :P
as of now its not easy to find a normal titan out there ( from what ive seen but you may be lucky ).

A Titan Black will perform same as a pair of 680s with more memory and has all the advantages of best single card....however 1080p will not need 6GB VRAM and 2 4GB 680s would run pretty sweet too...so...maybe come down to best deal you can get ?
This is 770 SLI but same GK104 chip as 680...

Well a pair of 780s doesn't cost very much more than a pair of 4GB 770s IMO. So it will definitely come down to the best deal I can get. Although I can see a rog swift monitor in the furture but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. I'll certainly wait for the price to come down after the initial release.
I imagine a pair of 770s draw less power than a pair of 680s but I don't think that's an issue since I haven't had any issues with my current PSU.Maximus VII Apex

evga is soon to release there 780 6gb for about 560.00, a pair of those would work great for gaming even if you go 4k..

AMD = crap, ive heard so menny ppl geting anoyed by drivers and poor performance and all that.
as of now nvidia is best on driver side.
