It seems the VESA has adopted Adaptive-Sync for the new DisplayPort 1.2a satandard and rejected Nivida's proprietary G-Sync. Will this mark the beginning of the end for G-sync or will Nvidia just forego licensing fees?

Opinions. Mine is that G-Sync isn't going away. There's too much invested. I think it will affect the premiums for proprietary licensing going forward though.

The beginning of the end for G-Sync?
