Gorman... its not that this site is Lossy.. its that it reduces the size! Whereas imgur will not lower the resolution, just the file size.

This is 100% the same as imgur. As Nico said, imgur reduced the file from 5mb to 2mb. As you can see comparing my two files, this site reduced the size from 1.5mb to 700kb.
Akane is only saying "dont upload here" to preserve their bandwidth, it has NOTHING to do with compression or resolution. Which I find humorous...
I don't know why you guys say these things when you can check for yourself in 5 seconds...

funny, when I click on images that are attached instead of hosted... they are NOT the correct size. why? because they get reduced.
