Swapping G74SX displays

I bought a G74SX-XT1 in July and aside from a few annoying quirks that I am working on I am very satisfied. I was wondering however if it would be possible in the future to swap out my screen with a 3D display?

I work with Dells all day, and they are super easy to take apart and swap things out, so I"m hoping it'll be possible to swap my display just as easily.

Should work as long as you get one with the correct connector and the package includes the emitter (for glasses style 3D).
