Fan Header Not Recognised

First of all I would like to say I love the new UEFI and the thermal controls on AI Suite, it would make the life of a gamer with no technical skills easy.

My problem is with the fan header for Case Fan 3 and 4. It is receiving power as the fan is working, however, it does not show in AI Suite or BIOS and if you try to auto tune, the sequence appears, but the fan actually stops when you try and identify it, if that makes sense.

Fault finding (what I have tried)

I have swapped fans around.
I have changed the fans status in Advanced Settings, i.e. From Standard, to Manual, Quiet, etc. It even lets me change to PWM, so I tried that even though they are only 3 pin case fans.

Any idea's? Is there another setting I don't know about or should I RMA?

Hello

If possible test with a different make/model fan.

Sure, I will do that today and post the results.

Thanks for all your help. I plugged in a spare Corsair PWM fan and it appears just fine. Guess there is either a problem with 3 pin case fans or a faulty NZXT fan. So glad I don't have to change the motherboard over.

Hello

sound like the motherboard is not seeing a RPM signal from the NZXT fan.
