cuda cores. 780 vs 780Ti
I'm curious as to this cuda core count
Is more cores gained by overclocking the chip or does it physically contain more of whatever these things are.Maximus VII Apex

the Ti chip is fully unlocked the 780 chip is not...so yes it does have actual more working silicon http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-780-ti-review-benchmarks,3663.html
There is a surprising bit of difference between the two performance wise...I have had the Titan (similar to 780) and now Titan Black...similar to 780Ti...the Black is quite a bit better...more than just the numbers would seem to suggest if you know what i meanLast edited by Arne Saknussemm; 05-27-2014 at 04:46 PM.

Its nice to be able to get myself up to speed on the video cards out there now thanks to rog..
I'm definitely going to go with the Ti and will have one in the next week or two. The I will sell my two 2GB 680s and by October will get another Ti for some Ti-SLI.Maximus VII Apex
