Did you mean:

"I could care less" or "I couldn't care less?"

Seen this cropping up more and more online:

"I could care less"

Makes no sense in the context it's used as it implies that someone could care less than they do. Thoughts?

Yep, bugs me too....I could care less means you care....I couldn't care less means you are at the limit of don't care...

Clees can explain http://youtu.be/uCUsPnKD1gk

However "like I could care less" makes more sense...

Not sure what that has to do with it, but I couldn't possibly care less why you did it. I'm just glad you did!

They are two completely different thoughts on a subject as implied. imho

One states that "They couldn't care less." Yet cared enough to make the point that they couldn't and now have no more care on the subject.

The second one states "They could care less." But simply have no interest in expending the energy to do so and cared only less enough to
state that they could.

Very interesting and deep subject. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. hahaha .c.

I'm always amused that so many folks don't know the difference in "then" and "than".

You might be able to teach old dogs how to do overclocking here but english grammar... Forget it 🙂

@MatsGlobetrotter, that has always been my philosophy on here. Whenever someone apologizes about his/her poor English, I point out that we native English speakers on here quite often don't get it right, so why should we care if they don't. LOL, some non-native English speakers I know have better grammer than some native English speakers I know. Kind of sad, but definitely true.
