Annoying issue with Hero LED strip

So, just bought a brand new Hero and I really enjoyed the red led strip on the left corner. But after I shutdown, the led wont come off! The only way to turn it off is to turn the PSU off. Is there a way around this?

UEFI/BIOS setting.

I don't know if it is possible to have it turn off when you shutdown the computer (but leave the PSU on).

You do have the option of permanently turning it off - though - in the BIOS under "Advanced > ROG Effects "

Can't remember exactly where to go. It should be Advanced>APM
You'll see the description for each option, such as S3 or S3+S4. basically one of those options will allow you to disable the LEDs while it's off or in sleep. Doing this will also disable the USB ports when the PC is off.
Look through those options and you'll figure it out.
