i wouldn't know too much about overclocking anything which is why i joined up for this site so i can try to get some education, over-all, i want the best board for gaming ASUS has to offer for now as well as upgrades in the future. i've only begun to research components as of 3 days ago so i really don't know which will offer me the best for what i want. budget isn't a problem, more of a choice since it will be a first attempt at a complete build other than popping a gpu in a slot. i could go upwar of $2,500 if it's going to last and make my gaming better than what it currently is. I've not been able to play any other games besides a few from years ago since i'm running an old system. I'll post the specs of my current.

Antronman basically put up a great system that is available to buy today...but literally within a few days the next lot of hardware is going to be announced and then make its way into the shops over the next couple of months say. If you can wait that long I would...because the new CPU is promising to be a good one and paired with a top end board will keep you gaming for a good while. The Maximus VII hero is the best of the new line of boards announced so far but the best are saved for last and revealed at Computex June 2.

A bit more cash and you could buy say a larger (1000W platinum) Seasonic PSU that will last longer and deliver power to a further GPU should you want to add another in the future for example; to drive a higher resolution display or to drive more demanding games at max settings...The PSU is the heart of the system and getting a top of the line one is a good thing to do...often an overlooked component and one that people try to save money on...

the formula may come out around july, depending how mutch mobo's they can push out and how the demand it.
its been more work on the formula then the other boards since it aimed at the gamers range and overclockers in one.

okay, very good to know. i'll start ordering the off parts and such and wait out as long as i can for a board and cpu, it's not a huge rush since i'm not doing the build until after i close on my house. thanks all.
