Wont hold change to cpu cores?

I am changing my CPU cores to 38 (through CPU core Ratio, with sync all cores equally spread) and it says my Ratio is 34x on the right hand menu. When I change my bus frequency, it displays the change accurately. Not sure what is going on here and why my multiplier change wont show. The changes stay in BIOS menu, but do not reflect on the right side where it shows my ratio, bus, frequency, etc.

I am using the i5-4670k
