Hey my friend you have been away nearly as long as I have.

Ok lets take this in small steps. What do you want to do first, CPU or memory?

Memory first I think.

In bios lets set all to defaults. F5 and enter.

Now if you have a RAID set up go and enable RAID in sata mode.

Back to the OC page and set XMP profile as your mode of OC. You will then need to navigate down to the memory tab and see if your sticks have one or two XMP profiles. I found that the second profile was most likely to work each and every time.

Once you have done all that F10 and enter.

You should be able to post to OS now.

OK so once you have F10 and enter your system powers down and will not post is that correct?

OK here is what I want you to do, please download the latest bios from the ASUS site.

Place the extracted bios to the root directory of a fat formatted usb stick.

Clear CMOS and flash your bios using the EZFlash method.

Once done try profile 1 again, but this time with only one stick of memory in the furtherest slot.
See how that goes.

yes it won't post.

these are some of my progress
-> updated bios to 1504
-> immediately redid your first post w/c consist of choosing the xmp profile #2
-> booted, posted and replied to this post

will restart my pc now, to go and choose profile 1, i'm really sorry for not removing the other stick, it would require much work on my part and a bit lazy cause the case is crowded and it's hard to move and remove things around.

Well next is to run some Memtest86+ from my guide in sig to make sure ram is stable at this setting.

Then we will increase the multi to 38x and using the latest CPUz see what voltage is needed on auto to pass ROG Realbench.
