There seems to be issues with a loud "pop" noise and the right side of the screen flickering being reported on the forums of Overclock.net

It is hard to believe that ASUS dropped the ball and kicked it around for the PB287Q, but many buyers (re: the rich early adapters of 4K who have multiple GPUs driving 4K) are getting angry. I haven't got mine out of the box yet, and I am apprehensive.

Anyone has the black screen issues like mine, what GPU are you using ? which driver version ?

I'm using 780 Ti SLI, the latest driver. Somehow I have a feeling this is the Nvidia driver issue w/ the Display Port. Because I remember that I got the same problem on my VG248QE when I connected it with DisplayPort. At that time, I thought my VG248QE had issue with displayport port, so I used the Dual-Link DVI and didn't even bother to figure out why.

Yes I wanted to buy it originally but now I have my doubts. Does anyone here have problems with flickering ? http://www.overclock.net/t/1492088/a...4k-60hz-28/180

Maybe its called simply 1:1 Did you check in OSD and all menus ?
Some monitors have modes like 1:1, Aspect , Fill. Are you sure it doesnt have them ? Does it at least have Aspect ratio scaling.
