cpu stuck at 800mhz

I have samsung evo ssd and the software it comes with samsung magician cant enable rapid mode because machine dosent meet minimum requirements. Its saying my cpu is at 800mhz. I have 4770k and its auto oc'd to 4.2ghz. Running lastest bios 1504. Cpu-z states correct speed 4200.1 mhz

bios reads 800 mhz cpu speed as does task manager, windows 8.1

Maybe you have turned on slow mode?

Also check out your CPU Power settings.

That is correct, you need to have your power plan set to performance for the Samsung Magician to work for you.

reset bios, now I get my true speed in bios and task manager
