i7-3930K C2 - Highest and Safe - vcore/temps for 24/7 use?

Hello. I have [ASUS Rampage IV Extreme] + [i7-3930K C2] + [Corsair H110 + 2x Thermalright TY-143]
i want maximum overclock my cpu for 24/7 full stable use, without cpu degradation.
maybe 1.5v be absolutely safe, if temps keep around 50*C, but i not have a enogh good cooling.
What is safe vcore for 85-90*C on most hot core?
with 1.42 vcore my corsair H110 can keep 80-85*C on most hot core (avx stress of course / gaming aroung 40-50*C), can i go further for 24/7 use withot degradation? to 90*C and more vcore? just i wanna maximum.
VCSSA 0.95v / VTT 1.1v / PLL 1.8v - its not be changed.
Sorry for my bad english, im russian, and Thanks.

No one can say this for sure of course; some CPUs degrade faster than others etc etc. but having said that, the CPU will degrade faster the higher your temps and the higher your vcore. I would personally stay under 75 degrees on hottest core and under 1.35v for 24/7 OCing. That said if you only want the CPU to last until X99 is out then sure maybe a bit more...but 1.5v, or any length of time, is asking for trouble IMO....I'd say your 1.42v is a sensible stop point given those temps.

OK im understand it, its just individually like lucky chips.

Arne is correct.

The two key things are voltage and temps. You can temporarily compensate for added voltage by having great cooling but at the end of the day voltage is the ultimate winner and will cause degradation.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

I kill one CPU 3930 C2, but i kill it with VTT 1.3+ and its cant handle 1600 ddr3 quad more.
now i have new cpu, and never up vtt voltages and vcssa too, i know its dangerous.
and i know i must keep temps around 75*C its 1.4v on stress my H100 handle it.
im not must going to trottling im understand, trottling with high vcore may be dangerous, ok.
then i left it under 1.4v 80*C thanks.
i mean degradation with Cores too far compare degradation with IMC, if this correct.

wow I agree those temps are way out of line I also own a 3930k and it has never seen temps like that. I'd change fast if you want any life out of you're cpu..

when i kill my first 3930 C2 - its degrade ONLY with IMC - on CORE its stay like first time ON - no degrade core frequency
its means 4500 - 1.35v was allways, 2400 c11 1T was allways
after VTT over dangerous voltage - dgradation got only IMC
4500 1.35v stay like first time stable, but dram only 1333.
sorry guys for bad english its too hard for me. Ich lehre deutsch in schule.

Yep! there are plenty of people who pour voltage through their chips and nothing happens...they retire the CPU before it fails...others treat their CPU like a baby and it dies after 6 months careful OCing.

But! On average you can say that high volts and particularly, high current, kills CPUs quicker so try to stay away from the max frequency of your CPU because as sure as eggs is eggs just 200MHz lower and it will be a lot happier. 4.6 GHz on SB-E is a pretty nice place to be for 24/7 I reckon and many on the forum have found the same. Certainly lower than about 1.4v vcore and around 1.1 VCCSA and VTT if possible...

Thanks for help! 🙂 I leave it on 1.36v 4600 HT for 24/7
its normal OC for work and Gaming, 4800 not give me more fps in my Games.
and i have some beautiful scores in WinRar 5.01 on my 4600 HT/2400 C11 - 17k score 🙂

Sounds sweet to me...nice place to be for 24/7 for sure!
