This is finally a double post. Asus tech has closed my original thread from yesterday. Stating it was a double post, which it wasn't by any means as this is.

He also states that amazon is selling it. Which they're not, other amazon marketplace businesses are, but not amazon.
He then posted a link to amazon to purchase, but he posted the JM series not the JS, and amazon isn't selling the JS.

"There is no mention of 'heat issues' there are only 3 negative reviews and none of them relate to heat. I have changed the title to stop any misunderstanding.

That one is shipped from ExcalibarPC. The DS71 shipped direct from Amazon has not been suspended.

He changed my title to say that it was changed due to mis information. This mis information, was a link to amazon's g750 jS page, in which it says they've suspended sales of.

Wow dude, damage control.

I love Asus, and I loved my laptop. I had no problem with Asus despite 7 attempts at getting a g750 that worked good and still stayed positive. But you sir are now lying to these users, and covering something up. Which really gets me wondering what exactly is going on.

So sir, what exactly is going on with your JS series laptops?
Amazon suspending, can't even exchange mine for a new one, amazon wont allow it. And now your totally blocking any of this information from the people?

I love my asus, I tried 7, that's 7 different laptops to get one that worked. I'm at a loss as to what to do now and where to go for a replacement. As asus was like the 100% awesome laptop in my eyes. I need one asap. And didn't want to send it in, I just wanted to try an 8th time and get another asus, but amazon wouldn't let me.

But the member on that screen shot, is who changed my amazon link to state title changed to avoid misinformation. Its not. Its a link to 'amazon' and the js model. Yes you can buy it elsewhere, I never stated you couldn't. And if you call amazon to find out why, which when I did call I asked why I couldn't get another g750 js they stated that they've had immense returns due to temperatures. Which is what I stated.

I also am a huge member at tomshardware.com, and anyone looking for gaming laptop I always recommend the asus. 10x out of 10. I feel its the vastly superior laptop. I'm not trying to thrash the laptop.

But the fact that this moderator just closed thread, changes correct information.

He really seems to be trying to hide something, and this is what makes me mad.
I'll still recommend asus to anyone. Except if they want it for rendering or 3d work. As for what ill recommend for that, I have no clue. The 770m in last years model is a joke, as even the 860m outperforms it. The jh is almost non existant and is well overpriced to be an even remotely ranged replacement to the 870m from this eyar. I think that the onboard graphics on the intel chip just cant be properly cooled with the same cooling config, and it cant handle 100% cpu workload. I'm not going to sacrifice all turbo and work with a 2.4ghz laptop, id be better off with a cheaper lower spec laptop that provides the same.

This isn't that unusual, I have run across this before for other products...

As far as Marshall's take on things, it is tough to come in in the middle of a changing situation and come up with the right call first time... I know Marshall has the best intentions for the Asus Community, and Marshall will come through and help resolve things asap.
