Respond to the Poll Above ^

0501

  • Not an Official Release
  • Available for download in my Post "how to enable RAID on Marvell 9182"
  • Supports RAID 0,1 on the Marvell 88SE9182 SATA III Controller
  • Is incredibly stable even when overclocking
  • One user has stated he cannot RAID on the Intel and Marvell Contollers at the SAME time using BIOS 0501 (this has not been confirmed by anyone else)

0505

  • Official ASUS Release in early Oct 2011
  • Does NOT support RAID on the Marvell 88SE9182 SATA III Controller
  • Added support for new CPUs and Memory (no makes or models or specified)
  • Tested stable

0606 +

  • Not yet released
  • Based on ROG member demand and the current Marvell RAID capabilities of BIOS 0501 I would expect this release to support RAID on the Marvell 88SE9182 SATA III Controller

Since I'm in your same situation, that is forced to use an unofficial bios 0501, in addition to giving my vote (Yes and ASUS better release a BIOS update), I confirm all of your conclusions on bios 0501 and 0505, also expect a confident future 0606, with raids on the 9182 feature enabled.
