Here's some new info I was hoping this was a one time thing but about every other time if I look a the voltage settings it will hang the BIOS. Some of the out of range setting have been on:
CPU/NB Voltage + .120v and + .127 another time, and HT Voltage + .186v and .208 another time. and it seems like the time it takes to get past locked enter BIOS screen is taking more and more tries, pushing the reset or the CMOS. Oh well all's well on the Bleeding edge, I would have thought most of the bugs would have been fixed by now but I guess not. RMA tomorrow, this has been two weeks of pure aggravation for me. I think I will drop down a notch on the CPU and memory and motherboard on the next round. Thanks for your help all.

Ed to bad we could not figure this one out. RMA is never a good thing. Do you self a favor and take some picture of the socket and traces around the socket before you send it in. Not going to go in to detail as to why just cover your azz. trust me
report back when you get the board back. good luck
