PC boots directly to BIOS, need help

What's up everyone. I recently tried to install OS X with my Maximus VI Formula MB, and after installing Windows again, it only boots directly to the BIOS. OS X is currently erased from my hard-drive and the Windows install is the only partition I currently have on it. Is there any way to reverse this? It will only boot to Windows if I have the install CD in the disk-drive.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

It wouldn't boot to Windows with either the HDD or keyboard unplugged together or separately. All I got was an error message telling me the current BIOS setup doesn't support the current boot device, and led me to the CSM menu. Following the CSM instructions didn't work either.

    Hello

Either fix the boot sector of the drive or reinstall the operating system.

Yea its not gonna boot to windows without the HDD plugged in, I was asking if it still booted straight to the BIOS with it unplugged, if not, the issue is on the HDD

@Detection, Hah, not sure what I was thinking with that. I'm not as computer-savvy as I'd like to be. Thanks anyway!

@Praz, I've tried installing Windows 7 several times, to no effect. I've also tried fixing the MBR using these instructions, still to no avail. Perhaps it's worth noting that while having OS X installed I used a software called Chimera to boot directly to the OS. I don't know if this is a known software within this community.

Though it says on the instructions that some users have seen success just simply deleting the boot sector. How do I do this? Google isn't helping me much.

EDIT: My computer now boots directly to Windows as I went through the aforementioned process again. I don't think I did anything different, but it works now.
