Comes installed on the SSD. Depending on what model you buy I'm most certain it's in Raid 0

Yeah, they should already be in raid 0 but most likely you'll just have to re-partition the drives if you want a 500gb and a 1tb instead of 2x250gb and 2x500gb.

Raid 0 is when all files are split into two different drives. You still get 100% drive space.

Do not confuse this for raid 1 (50% space reduction). If one of your mSata chips die, you're in trouble. (It's unlikely to happen but just to help you understand the difference)

You'll be fine. OS comes on system.

If 8.1 doesn't come on it.. you will definitely have 8.0 and can easily upgrade for the outrageously overly priced expense of FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ;3

Like the other folks mentioned, Win8.1 comes pre-installed on a RAID 0 array (2 x SanDisk SD6SP1M128G1102 SSDs). You can read up on the different RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) levels, including RAID 0, here...

It depends. If you are looking at the ASUS website, or a local vendor you should check if the notebook even comes WITH WIndows. The way you have asked you question does not make it clear if you want to know if every laptop comes with Windows, or if you want to know if it comes with Windows if YOU purchase it with one. ( I don't mean to insult you, I don't know your level of computer knoledge). IF you are talking about buying a notebook + Windows, then yes, it comes pre-installed on your notebook. If you purchase a SSD it will be installed there, since that is the whole reason why you would have an SSD in the first place. Other than that, you don't really need to know about partitioning or anything like that, because I am pretty sure everything will be ready for use the moment you get it.
