4 LED's on 2-pin IDE_LED connector (HDD activity LED)

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if I can connect 4 LED's to the frontpanel HDD activity connector?
No clue what the specs from the LED's are since I salvaged them from an ancient no-name case, but they are all connected to a single 2-wire which gave me the idea to use those on my res in a scratch build.

Does anyone know the max load that header can take?
Would it be possible to power a small LED-strip from the HDD activity connector?

Thanks

Not sure, but it shouldn't hurt anything to try. The header is going to provide whatever amount of power it provides, the worst that should happen is that the LED strip won't light up (or will be very dim).
