Maximus VI Formula: No Sonic Radar or Perfect Voice

Hello all,

I recently put together my first rig, and I chose to use the Maximus VI Formula, as it seemed like the best ROG motherboard for my needs. Not only were the physical features of the board exciting, but I was also excited about two software features in particular: Sonic Radar and Perfect Voice.

Much to my dismay, I can't seem to find them anywhere, under the M6F's downloads page, or on the driver/utility installation disk that came with my motherboard.

This saddens me quite a bit, since they were two of the most talked-about features (Sonic Radar in particular) of this series of boards. After seeing demos of the software in action and having seen reviews by such groups as LinusTechTips and TechOfTomorrow, I got quite excited for them, and was wondering if there was some other way to be supplied with this software?

Did you install the drivers off the CD?

Yeah. I used the InstAll feature.

Hmm. Ok. Try installing the driver by selecting it specifically from the DVD. And, if there is an option, do an advanced install or something that allows you to see what components are being installed to make sure that Sonic Radar is being installed.

Well, I went into:

>MB Support CD>Drivers>Audio>Driver, saw the "Sonic Radar" folder, found the manual installer, and used it. Thanks for your help.
