How Do I Get My Temperatures?

I just finished my first gaming session on my new JZ, pretty nice.

World of Tanks. Max everything graphically and 50-60 FPS, some times higher, sometimes lower. I never noticed less than 45 FPS.

The air blowing out of the right exhaust port seemed a bit warm.

How do I read system temperatures?

Of course it's warm, it's not room temperature. It's like 60*C of hot air.

On GPU Tweak, ( Or what ever program you have for overclocking your card) you have a GPU monitor. Or you can look on Speccy ( by Piriform ) ;d

I've never OCed before. And I'm reluctant to start now. What frame rate bump might I see?

I shot this after another round of WoT. exhaust was heating up.

What does this tell you?

Where do I find my CPU temp?

Can you recommend another tool that will tell me temps?

Anyway, I have no idea what I need to do.

Can you talk me through it? Type slowly and use little words please.

http://openhardwaremonitor.org/downloads/ been using it for some while now! I have it set up to show both cpu (package) and gpu in notification area or system tray as it used to be called.

I suggest you use open hardware monitor. It shows you every temperature of your computer (CPU, GPU, motherboard, etc.)

For CPU temp, I use Core-Temp : works great.

For the GPU, I use GPU-Z.

Speccy also gives you plenty of hardware info

I use Speccy by Piriform. It gives ALL temperatures from ALL available sensors in the computer. It's also free and from a very well trusted company. Here https://www.piriform.com/speccy
