According to reviews (for FLiR test @ guru3d.com, please see link provided at the end of this message) and users, the STRIX 780 VRM s get so hot that they think it may become a concern for both performance and component life expectancy.
Does ASUS provide _any_ explanations for the supposedly excessively hot VRM s and/or provide/suggest any remedies customers can invoke to address the issue, i.e. applying after market cooling solutions WITHOUT voiding warranty etc?
Are the VRM's intended to be running at those crazy temps without deteriorating more rapidly?
