Do i have a chance to RMA my card?

hello i have Asus GTX 680 TOP that i bought from amazon before 1 year ago.
everything was ok until i heard some strange noise while i play some games.i thought the problem was the cooling
so i bought the Acclero Xtreme 3, great cooling everything was ok until i erorr messeges (nvidia driver stop responding)
and the screen was black and it flicker and return to work .
after a week in happend every hour or 5-10 minutes.
i thought maybe the pci express slot maybe have dust
so i put out the card clean all the pc connect everything back and now what i got is awaful white artificts.
i mean all the screen is white lines. than i thought thats it card is dead...

. i still wonder how great company like asus make
faulty cards at this high end cards. my reliability in asus is gone.

i didnt know that replace stock cooling will void my warranty. in EVGA its not like that? what can i do????
    bake in oven??
i insist that asus will RMA my card i paid for it damn good money and i could buy another company. what is this stupid policy that if you change cooling your warranty is gone ....

Hello XBC123, Welcome to the ROG forum.

Hey it happens, I've had a graphics card a cpu and an SSD die on me too.

Unfortunately you won't be able to RMA your Asus gtx 680 as installing a water block on it voids the warranty.

You are correct in saying that EVGA will warrant an RMA if you install a water block on it. As long as you install the original heat sink and fan back on and it works as it should they will warrant an RMA.

As for baking it in the oven, I don't think that would fix it.

The only suggestion I have would be to get you a gtx 780. The price of a gtx 780 now is probably what you paid for your gtx 680. If you want a water block on it, buy it with it already installed. Price will be pretty much the same buying it already installed instead of you buying the water block and installing it yourself. Plus if it malfunctions, it will be under warranty.
