Having an issue with headset mic that i cant solve myself.

I recently bought the ASUS G750 laptop. (model: G750JM-BSI7N24) and I'm having in issue with getting my current headset mic to work. I have the Razer Kraken Pro analog headset and the laptop is out of box, no upgrades whatsoever. I have fiddled with the sound settings, (i.e. the db and mic levels) even boosting them to 100/100 and +30.0 db and the mic is only picking up sharp noises like when i blow directly into the mic. The Kraken Pro uses a splitter that Razer provided in the box with the headset, and the headset itself works fine on my desktop but now trying it with the laptop the mic just refuses to pick up anything. I am already out of ideas on how to fix this issue that i'm having. Any solutions on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

This machine comes with an Audio Amplifier with Maxx Audio.

It's because of this sound driver your headset has issues I believe.

I don't know the fix for it other than uninstalling the drivers (which isn't a good idea I think. )

Try check the forums, otherwise someone else may be able to help.
