ROG Swift PG278Q Pricing varies by region?

Does that mean this will no longer be $799 here in the US? Will we be getting a higher price than the $799 that was expected?

If it's listed as 799 USD, that's what you'll be paying...depending on which shop you buy it from.

Not to hijack this thread but what about pricing in regards to *international* regions. It's hitting shelves at 799$ in the US but what about Europe? There's a significant difference between 800$ and 800€ (roughly 300$ more). Can anybody confirm actual pricing for Europe (specifically Germany)?

No product price is ever the same across EU and US. US has a larger market and cheaper transport, warehousing fees and taxes. Sales tax is usually your killer in EU as AFAIK US states can be around 5% (some 0 for online), but EU can be as much as 20-25%.

Unless you're talking food or maybe baby clothes which are small/light/tax exempt (at least in UK, not sure if it's EU policy) then there's no such thing as an international price.
