VII Hero Real-Time Clock Issues

DDRRE
Level 7
Hi,

Seems like the Z97 VII Hero suffers from the infamous frozen clock bug ("Windows goes back one hour" after every hour that passes when synchronizing with the hardware clock).

I'll try the known temporary fix (10-second CLR_CMOS), but has anyone here encountered this too?

Which UEFI build is your board running?

Windows clock being off doesn't directly mean its the same issue, although it don't sound like a good sign lol

Windows clock can be off if windows sync is acting up or something is blocking windows sync or delaying it

The issue the other boards had was the bios clock would become frozen in time

@Raja - I'm running the latest build.

Just a small update - I turned the PSU off, removed the RTC battery, waited a minute, put it back in, turned the PSU on, held the CLR_CMOS button for 10 seconds, booted and configured the UEFI, and the issue hasn't reproduced for the past two days.
