Actually there is a Frys in my beach neighborhood which is above the San Diego area XD

I called them to see if they had it but they said no. However I'm a persistent Lil mofo and I went over there to see if it was there. Turns out it just wasn't in their main system and they had just JUST one left and I bought it!!!

Sweet congratz. I thought about calling but i didnt want to speak to someone incompetent that didnt know what i was talking about so i just went asap and showed the salesperson the frys product label and said "I want to buy this" lol. How do you like it so far? I love mine.

What the hell do you have to tell those jerks to get them to check their actual store stock? I went up to my local frys in Arlington TX and they repeatedly insisted if its not on their site they don't sell it and wouldn't look it up for me. Ugh. I want this monitor. Lol

Thanks! I used that this morning and finally got ahold of the Arlington TX store over phone. Gave them the PLU over the phone and they were able to find it in their system finally... Unfortunately they apparently had none in stock until at least the 29th :\

Yeah but if it comes out online (Newegg still hasn't updated, Best Buy or Amazon don't even seem to have placeholder pages yet) tomorrow I'd rather just order it and get it earlier. Especially now that some of the regulars I used to deal with (and had great experiences with) at Fry's have found better employment are gone, I'm enjoying my trips there less and less.

But you're right, at least I have a hard date! I really appreciate you sharing that.
