can you use mobo fan headers with splitters?
As the title states I am wondering if putting splitters on the fan headers off the mobo will work without causing any problems. Also will it detect 2 fans connected to a single header via a splitter. I run a total of 10 fans in my build and would like to connect. for example rad 1 is gpu so I want to connect the fans associated with rad 1, 2 corsair sp120l fans, to the same header using a splitter and control both fans via bios settings.
Is this possible and will it work without any issues?
I know a fan controller would eliminate this situation but money is tight right now, and I am looking for a soltion that will work with the equipment I already have available to me.
I currently have fans running off psu with only 5 on the mobo headers and am not very happy as the control I want over all the fans does not exist in this configuration.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

you can pul max 1amp on each header, so a Y splitter you can use, but when it comes to RPM i dont know.
you have for example this -> http://www.frozencpu.com/products/20...WM-SPL-ST.html
or this -> http://www.frozencpu.com/products/13...CBFA03-45.html
witch is not that expensive TBH.
