I tried all methods from this topic http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?48855-Must-Do-s-for-making-4790K-work-with-Maximus-VI-Mothe...
I used bios flash back, used v.2.0.02 software from BIOS archive, used EZ-Flash. I get only 00 Q code.
I have G3220 and i3-3140 this CPUs works fine. I used all BIOSes 1505, 1504. But not succeeded.
4790k works fine on ASrock H81M-DGS, and Gigabyte h87n
How i can run 4790k on M6G?

Hello

Post a screenshot of the main UEFI page showing the ME firmware version.

Yes the UEFI version is also showing 1505.
G3220, i3-3140, i7-4770 works fine except 4790k.

Hello

If the UEFI version is also showing 1504 everything is properly updated for the 4790K and you have some other issue affecting the system from successfully booting.

So rather than waiting for people here to respond - which they do so Voluntarily I might add (i.e. they are not paid) - you went ahead and bought a different motherboard from a different manufacturer - which had a z97 chipset.

There are a number of troubleshooting steps we could've done to help you out - but I guess that isn't necessary now.

Just an FYI - if you bought an ASUS board with a z97 chipset that would've worked too.

Might as well delete this thread.
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS Maximus VI Formula (BIOS 0804)
CPU: Intel i5-4670k
HDD 1: Samsung SSD 250G 840BW EVO
HDD 2: Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB Caviar Blue 7200rpm
RAM: 16gb (2x8) G. Skill RipJawsX DDR3-2133
PSU: Seasonic X-Series 750W 80 Plus Gold
GPU: Gigabyte GV-N770OC-4GD
CASE: Fractal Design Define R4
OPTICAL DRIVE: Pioneer BDR-209DBK
MONITOR: Samsung S24C300HL; BenQ E2200HD
OS: Windows 10 Professional
Other: MS Wired 600; Logitech MX 310; Sennheiser PC 151 & Logitech Z150

I made everything. I don't trust that you can recommend something that I didn't do. I spent 2 days of time for that to force it to work. But time was spent in vain. Why everything works at 50 dollars MB and doesn't work at 200 dollars MB?
I wanted to buy M7G, BUT why it have PS/2? It would be better if it were USB ports.
All line of these MB has PS/2. Why? Maybe ASUS will revive LPT?

Hello

I apologize that I was not able to respond back within a time frame you find appropriate. As you have moved to a different brand motherboard I'll mark this resolved.
