Like a lot of people I have been waiting for the non-watchdog version of the M7F thinking there was going to be a significant price break. I have been checking Newegg daily but only see the WD version. I couldn't care less about a shooter game.

Today I noticed for the first time, probably been there all of the time, that the header described that the M7F came with a free copy of WD? So, I would assume, that is the price of the M7F?

I am not sure where i got the idea that there would be a non-WD version at a significantly, say $50, lesser price point?

Is there going to be another M7F release and will it be less$? If so, will it be anytime soooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnn?

I have had all off my hardware for a complete 4790k build except the MB for well over a month now. I am getting tired if waiting and might need to spend my money on something else before my wife spends it on something non-PC related.

The header on Newegg is false. It is not free. It's part of a bundle that you actually have to pay $50 extra for the game.

Also the non-bundled version should be around $319 (http://www.anandtech.com/show/8272/asus-rog-maximus-vii-formula-released). Raja has confirmed that the information is accurate. He was also able to let us know the non-bundled version will launch this month, August. However, he was unable to give us more specifics than "soon" in whether to expect it in the next coming days or August 31st.

Now to keep my hands on the $$ for a while longer. She knows I have been waiting but she is itching to use the money for something on her mind and the longer it takes the harder it is to; well, you know.

Im happy with my new board. I just could not wait. The game can be had on ebay for 17 bucks or less, and so its not even worth trying
to sell it. I dont care for third person shooters.

I have just a few minutes to go, and my 24 hour water leak period will be over and Im really excited to see what
kind of difference the new WC loop will make, especially as now I included the MB Copper bar in the loop, as
opposed to just using my old H100i.

Well, at least one retailer thinks it's coming, so that's good news. Bad news is they list "ships in 2-4 weeks" http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1073237-REG/asus_maximus_vii_formula_motherboard.html Never would have thought to check a camera supply site for computer parts, but I'd have no problem buying from them over Newegg if they come out cheaper. I've used them in the past to buy lenses so I know they're good lol.

Amazon has recently posted the M7F: http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Motherboard-MAXIMUS-VII-FORMULA/dp/B00M5DUVT0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1407...

They posted it with the status of 2-4 weeks to shipping. I've had multiple experiences with Amazon when they said they would ship in 2-4 weeks and overnight they magically ship it regardless of their estimates. However the big thing is Amazon for some odd reason is charging $339.99 for the non-bundled version, way too high.

I expected other sites to markup the item, but not Amazon. They usually are really fair with prices and almost always sell at MSRP so this is really strange. I already submitted a price match request through Amazon. I also contacted their customer support who claimed they don't price match other websites, which is false so I don't think that rep knew what they were talking about. Hopefully Amazon adjusts their price to be fair so I can overnight it through Prime without paying ridiculous shipping fees.

That is a bit unfortunate. There should be no reason for Amazon to price it that high.
