So I decided to run AIDA64 on my RAM for read speed and was puzzled as to why a system that is running stock 3.4GHz 4930K Processor with DDR 1866 RAM is beating my system that can clock 4.5GHz and has PC2400 RAM.

You'll notice another X79 4930K system is beating me by a lot and his RAM is slower.

He's getting 52396 MB/sec I'm getting 37225 MB/sec

Why is this happening?

Hey thanks for sharing that thread. It seems it's a problem with ASUS boards and Ivy-E chips. I'm gonna look into it and see if I can fix it.
