Have you updated your Bios xxLoTeKxx as I cannot understand why UEFI boot option is unavailable. Unless you changed at some point from UEFI to Legasy then I believe you have to reflash.
It is also said that only one SSD should be installed during setup.
There is a video for UEFI installation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amwujljr7pY

Have you read this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-au/library/dn336946.aspx
And this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-au/library/hh825112.aspx

You'll have to clean install for UEFI, Once you set the system for UEFI booting, boot from a USB flash drive or DVD,
If your SSD has already been used, delete all the partitions & create a new one.

To make a UEFI bootable USB drive,

1. Plug in your USB flash drive, and run Rufus

2. Check the option “Create a bootable disk using: ISO Image“, and click the icon next to it to pick up the ISO image file.

4. Select “GPT partition scheme for UEFI computer“

For Rufus go here: http://rufus.akeo.ie/

As this is new to most of us, Good Luck and your feed back will be most welcome.

i dont think there are UEFI capable dvd rom's
its not the board that give you the uefi hardware capability, its the hardware that has to be uefi capable or not

Yes, I believe the latest ASUS dvd ones are UEFI capable and the MB Certainly is. Other devices may not be depending on the make and model oc. Some devices are firmware up date-able.

btw OP, Once you are UEFI Capable you can disable CSM support for even faster Boots.

I would say not and don't think there is firmware update for your model. Have you checked?
