Hi there all 🙂 I have just got this motherboard and well so far it works nice. But I have one big problem, and that is my sound. The
sound is set to max in windows as it should be. I use ROG Xonar Phoebus sound card btw. All the drivers are installed right. But on the volume controller that follows the sound card and my T3 Gigaworks creative speakers volume controller i have to max them out to to
even get a dissent sound.

This is a brand new desktop computer, but i had this motherboard earlier, Z97-DELUXE with the same sound card and there the sound was perfect, but on this Maximus motherboard the sound is extremely low 😞 as it should not be.

Btw i have the sound card in the upper PCIe slot, maybe i should try to place it in another of the slots? I'm using SLI btw too.

Anyone here knows anything that maybe to any help for me? Or had problems with this self?

And where in bios can I turn of the onboard sound card? Maybe that's gonna help 😄
