Hi Guys,

I’m having trouble deciding which laptop to get. I’m looking for something that:

1) Can run the latest games for the next 4-5 years
2) Battery life and form factor is not my primary concern
3) Best performance and cooling
4) 15.6” and above screen size
5) Doesn’t necessarily have to have a 4k screen

I’m looking at the Asus G750JZ but a lot of people are saying to wait for the Maxwell GPU laptops coming…soon?
I’ve look at the GX500 but am not sure how is its performance when compared to the G750JZ. How is the 860M in the GX500 compared to the 880M in the G750JZ?
There might be other better laptops coming after the GX500 but the questions is when?

I’m into some FPS games (MWO) and love Blizzard games a lot. Can anyone enlighten me please?

Wait for the Maxwell CPU based laptops. These current laptops will soon become obsolete and the Haswell CPU is one of the worst CPUs intel has ever produced! I would take an older IVY Bridge over Haswell any time of the day

Any idea of the timeline for the release of these new laptops with the new CPUs and GPUs?

I suggest you the new G750jz series... with new CPU... link if do not agree you must going on Alienware, it is only very alternative for me!
