    Lightbulb Help! first time overclock vii hero

    hi all overclock guru.
    This is my first time doing overclocking with my vii hero, i5 4690k.
    i try to set the cpu voltage in bios to +0.010. when the pc re-start. it is black screen and it would not every boot the window.
    therefore, i went back to bios and set back to auto and it works.

    what have i done wrong here? not sure. please advice. thanks.

    corsair H80i ( 2 PWM fans )
    corsair psu ax650w
    GTX 670
    5 Fans ( 3 PWM and 2 DC )

    What setting are you adjusting? If its the vcore voltage you eill need @ least 1.275v

    No I set it around 1.05
    Was it too low?

    what is the best setting and safe and reliable for my i5 4690k cpu and vii hero mobo?

    what do they do? and how to set them to be safe and stable?

    your psu should be ok, your gpu calls for a minimum of 500 watts.

    Do you have real temp 3.70, cpu-z and a cpu stress testing program installed?
