I got an ASUS G74S... these are my specs..
Intel Core i7 - 2670QM 2.2Ghz
16GB Ram
1.5TB HDD
nVidia GTX560m 3GB
Windows 8.1 64 bit
I have a question.. previously i was running windows 7 on this laptop... my processor speed, according to intel turbo boost monitor and the task manager, is at 2.2Ghz minimum, and 3.0Ghz maximum.. But since using windows 8.1, my maximum speed is at 2.2 Ghz only.. and it idles around 1.5 - 1.7Ghz.. what is the issue here? is it a driver issue?
