HCI Memtest is good for testing memory overclocks. Yours seems to be unstable if errors come up.

a question about "The Uncore Story" ...
I recently decided to start a new overclock, moving away from the 125 strap that I was using.
As a refresher I re-read this guide. This section seems to say that cache voltage can be "in the region of 1.35~1.45V."
Is that correct? and more importantly, is it safe? I've got my 5820k cache running at 4400 CPU with 4300 Cache (cache voltage ~1.245V). I would like to push further.
"The Uncore Story
Overclocking the cache frequency is not essential as processor core frequency dominates overall performance. However, if one wishes to experiment with cache overclocking - the cache frequency (AKA Uncore) can help boost some benchmark scores if run close to the processor core frequency.
Good processor samples can achieve 4.6GHz Uncore frequency in tandem with CPU core frequency at the same value. Depending upon the processor sample, this may require cache voltage in the region of 1.35~1.45V."

I used to be able to pass realbench stable at 4.6 OC 1.26vcore, ever since i upgraded bios to latest 3001/2 just setting XMP and 4.6 with 1.35vcore causes bsod as soon as the computing starts.
Anyone else having issues with their current OC after new bios? should i revert back? what would i lose going back to 1802?

Dear Gentlemen))
There is R5E10 on which E5-1650v3 and 4x8GB are installed.
The processor can up to 4.5 / 3.8 at 1.25V without overheating and errors.
At the same time, the memory frequency cannot exceed 2400. No way! If the factor is even 2666, the code is bd.
If I install the strap 125MHz, then everything in the BIOS shows that the target is correct, but at the same time the system boots as if it were not set to 125 MHz, but to 100 MHz.
Does 1650v3 strap support? Or did I need to take the i7-5930K so that the memory worked for 3000/3200?Last edited by Morlock; 09-18-2019 at 08:40 PM.
