    Hi

    Can someone help me.
I just finished building my computer and it was running OK for a couple of days with an 4.2 overclock at 1.25vcore and the memory at 2666. I passing realbench with no problems, but last day i tried again realbench and I couldnt finish not even 15 min without a restart, not even a BSOD just a restart. I cleared CMOS and I tried at stock settings realbench but its happening the same just restarting no BSOD or overclock fail. Even on stock settings I tried raising the system agent voltage and same thing. Now i will try to flash the new bios 1801 and see, it was on 1601. If somebody have an ideea please help. Sorry for my english.

Have you verified if your AIO liquid cooler is working? Have you looked at the temperatures?

Just a hunch, did you change your power plan in windows from balanced to high performance or vice versa?

And yes, giving us some temperature readings would help.

Yes the AIO is working in HWInfo is not higer then 55 on default settings on the hottest core and overclocked was not higher then 70 degrees. I flashed the new bios last night and it managed to finish 1 time the test and today same reboot after max 5min in stresstest, in aida 64 more then 30 min with no problems, can it be realbench the problem? I was thinking maybe a corrupt windows. Also I noticed the CPU usage in realbench is showing 0 all the time I even downloaded realbench again and its the same. I didnt change the windows power plan its on balanced.

Unstable overclocks can cause OS corruption without a doubt. Perhaps your Realbench files are corrupted in some way. Try redownloading the program.

I also tried hci memtest it passed 100% with 0 errors and it rebooted again, everything is on default. It can be a bed memory? Or should I do a windows fresh install and try again?

Start with a fresh OS and see if the problem persists. Also run your system at stock speeds for a while to test.

    May I explain my issue?

    I have a fine Asus build( i7 5930K with Strix gtx980Ti, 16GB HyperX 3000 RAM at XMP 2666mhz)
it runs fine on nearly ANY overclock from 3800, 4000, to 4200 up to 4400 Mhz, 1,275 Volt. Getting great performance and stability,

    BUT...

Any system start, restart, or reboot results in a locked up UEFI (BIOS) screen that ONLY SHOWS "AMERCIAN MEGATRENDS" in big letters, nothing else.
Then I press the reset button on my case, it starts again and boots and all is fine.

My PSU is quite new, a Corsair AX870 I think. 1 HDD and 3 SSD. No Raid.

What can it be? Thank you 1000 times!

Thank you Chino! Well, if left on defaults (including not using XMP, so ram is on auto), then this problem does NOT show up.

But then I have terrible results in any benchmark, Aida64 Ram and cache, is low with RAM at 2166, 3D Mark... etc...
