Is there any way to decrease Fan Speed lower than 1000 RPM? (About fan duty 30%)

I'm using water cooled ASUS 780 gtx dc2oc. The problem is fan speed.
My radiator fan hook up with 12V power of PSU and Fan 1 RPM report and PWM Pulse hooked up with VGA 5pin fan connector. (FYI, Red:RPM#1 / BLK:GND / YEL:12V / GRN:RPM#2 / BLU:PWM. I use RED for RPM report and BLU for PWM control signal.)
The problem is Fan speed is not able to lower than about 1000 rpm at idle even gpu is at 27'C.
I guess it's quite waste and a bit noisy.
I just want to use temp control directly with VGA not water resorvoir.
And CPU is great with this way. 🙂

GPU Tweak is not allow to lower than 1000PRM, Afterbunner too.

no traditional way.
though asus did create the strix (its called i believe), which stop the fan when gpu not in use and temps are low.

No, it's normal that the minimum fan speed is around 30%. The new Asus Strix GPU is an exception here.
Why don't you use the fan headers on your motherboard? Controlling your fans via BIOS. 😉

Thanks for the reply. @ConkersGrillforce1337 I'm using thermal sensor which comes from motherboard to control the fan. But I thought to control fan with vga directly is more accurate and neat 🙂
