amitabhbansal, you could also go with the Sony Pulse Elite Edition USB dongle/Wireless. These sound awesome. The only drawback is only 5-6 hours of battery time before needing a recharge. Buy 2 and keep the other charging.
The bass is awesome, even without the Bass Impact boost, and gaming / movies sound great. They say Playstation 3, but they work great on my G750JH and PS4. If you reduce the Bass Impact you can extend the battery life.
Pulse Elite Edition Wireless Stereo Headset by Sony Computer Entertainment (Mac, PlayStation 3 / Vita, Sony PSP, Windows)
http://www.amazon.com/Edition-Wirele...ref=pd_cp_pc_0
Much better sound than BT headphones, but I still mostly use my Sony MDR-10RBT's because I switch between the G750 and Sony Z Ultra during the day, and I get 18+ hours use from them.
Sony MDR10RBT Bluetooth Wireless Headphones
http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR10RBT-...sony+mdr-10rbt
I can also recommend the Sony MDR-1RBT headphones, but there is also a MKII version of those out now too - I haven't tried those. The originals got 20+ hours of run time.

Another thing to try is to push through the obstruction with a more narrow plug - like used with Toslink - the headphone jack doubles as a Toslink port. You would use an adapter like this:
CableWholesale Digital Optical Toslink Female/3.5mm Male Adapter (30F2-71200)
http://www.amazon.com/CableWholesale...dphone+adapter
If that fits, you can run a headphone amp, Receiver, DAC or other Toslink capable device - like my Sennheiser RS-220 headphones- to get audio out.
Let us know what you end up going with!Last edited by hmscott; 09-04-2014 at 08:26 AM.

amitabhbansal, bad news, there are lots of complaints about the G35 / 390 not working reliably on Windows 8.1 with USB 3.0
It may be related to USB 3.0 vs USB 2.0 ports, and the G750 only has USB 3.0 ports

https://www.google.com/search?num=50...35+windows+8.1
https://www.google.com/search?num=50...35+windows+8.1
It looks like it isn't reliable on USB 3.0 + Windows 8.1...
Here is an older Steam post that might help if the newest unified driver won't work well, and the 64 bit ftp url still works, these are Windows 8.0/8.1 problems...

Read the whole thread, there are multiple fixes as there are multiple problems; and likely lots more threads to read to catch all the options for fixes.Last edited by hmscott; 09-05-2014 at 01:46 AM.

amitabhbansal, if I was there I would start looking for new distributors inside India, to find a Sony, Sennheiser, or other dealer to import what I wanted - like the ones I mentioned - or other devices that are known to work with Windows 8.1. There must be a Sony India or Sennheiser India or some other wireless headphone maker importing to India - it is a popular product / need / desire.
And, I would go into your local India Asus Support center and explain the problem with the headphone jack, and try to get it fixed - without them messing up something else
And, you should know some people have issue with the headphone jack analog audio with low impedance headphones, like Apple earbuds, or other similar earbuds. You want wired headphones with 100-300ohm impedance to match the headphone amp in the G750.
I have paired other Bluetooth brands as well, like Plantronics - these the predecessors of these models that ship in the US:
Plantronics BackBeat GO 2 Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Earbuds with Charging Case - Retail Packaging - Black
http://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-Ba...ereo+bluetooth
Plantronics Voyager 855 Bluetooth Headset (Black) - Stereo - image doesn't show 2nd wire/earbud
http://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-Vo...stereo+voyager
Here is a newer version I haven't tried, my old ones still work fine
Plantronics BackBeat 903+ Headset - Frustration Free Packaging
http://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-Ba...p_ob_title_def
If you want Wireless Gaming headset's there are quite a few more than the Sony's...
Call of Duty® Ghosts Ear Force Phantom Limited Edition Gaming Headset - these are good.
https://www.turtlebeach.com/product-...ts-phantom/394
I haven't tried these, but they are PC/Wireless/Surround sound:
Wireless 7.1 channel Dolby Surround Sound* audio with the Ear Force Z300
https://www.turtlebeach.com/product-...force-z300/369
Are there gaming specialty shops in India that you haven't tried that might carry something like these?Last edited by hmscott; 09-05-2014 at 05:27 AM.

amitabhbansal, I thought you wanted to avoid a wired headset? Did you get the headphone jack fixed? For a working USB solution you are going to have to find someone that has hooked it up with a USB 3.0 port and Windows 8.1 to make sure it is compatible / trouble-free.
Charging becomes 2nd nature, as I fall asleep I plug in half a dozen things to make sure they are all ready for when I wake up the next day
The Pulse headset solution is to get 2... kinda overkill you might think, but think of the 2nd one as a backup for when you accidentally trash one of the two, you will still have one to use while the other is fixed/replaced. You can always start with just 1 to make sure you like it, you will
Before the Sony MDR-10RBT I used to rotate between several Sennheiser models - MM450/MM350, and before that several Plantronics headsets - the Sony is the first one with a long enough charge, and sturdy enough that I can depend on it enough to have just 1. I took back my Sony MDR-1RBT as I didn't need 2 for backup.
Sony India doesn't list the Pulse headset in their Playstation gaming area, but someone independent might import them.
Let us know what you find.Last edited by hmscott; 09-05-2014 at 05:59 AM.
