Guys . How long waiting when GTX 980 DirectCuII will be available in shops ? 2-3 weeks or faster? I am interested.

Nvidia has an event on 18th September, called Game24. According to rumours, Nvidia will launch the GTX900 series at this event. If the rumours are true, I would say, they should be available by mid-October or early November. 😉

Interestingly that Nvidia uses an updated variant of the GTX 760 PCB. Drops the research&development costs for sure.

first of all does anyone know anything about STRIX-GTX980-DC2OC-4GD5's price or anything confirmed about it by asus?
then is strix series like rog series? i mean is it made especially for gamers too or something?

I would say Strix series is made for gamers, it includes many features as you can see in Asus press release like other ROG graphics cards. The Asus Strix is listed on heise.de price comparison for €620+.

Any input on if there will be a Asus GTX980DC2OC/T card? Besides the extremely ugly looking Strix card offcourse.. I dont want that card in my case 🙂

You mean the reference model? Should already be out.

Strix 980s were out a little later than 970s - but should be in stores now/very shortly.
