Difference in performance DDR4 2400, 2666, 2800, 3000

Is there much difference in performance in these memory speeds, 2400-3000? Looking at GSkill memory. Thanks.

It's pretty much the same as DDR3 mate, unless you do something on your PC that benefits from the speeds and the throughput, then not much of a difference at all.

I ran cinebench with my Corsair 2666 at 2666, 2800 and 3000.

The Cinebench score between 2666 and 3000 was only 0.6 Percent increase.

All tests were done with a CPU Strap at 100 and BCLK at 100. What's interesting though is if you use CPU Strap and BCLK at 125 the score for 2666, 2800, 3000 was actually lower than the score at 2400 with Strap and BCLK at 100.

HW-E doesn't seem to work well with CPU Strap and BCLK at 125.

Interesting, after reading the review, I may down clock back my memory to use the default 1.2v instead of 1.35v.
