Keyboard metal is heating up a lot.

Hi there,

For around 4 days now i noticed that the keyboard of my G75 VW is getting quite hot.
I just noticed that the right fan is not spinning..
Also the system is responding quite slow.

There was a recent big Windows 7 update and I was wondering it this could cause these issues.

My core temp. is showing 56 degrees which is actually nothing.

Any ideas

cheers

What's your GPU Temp. Suggest you clean your fans and heat sinks might help you out.

40972Hi Clintlgm,

Did all that but i discovered that my right fan isn't working and I think that might the reason why the metal surrounding my keyboard is heating up.
Tj max shows 105'C
My 4 cores are all around 71'C

Dont know if that is within a normal level or If I should get worried.
I bought a cooling pad yesterday but still the same temp.

Any ideas...

Cheers

Yes you'll need to change the fan. RMA would be best but it your warranty has run out you can find these fans on eBay and there is a very good dissemble video

Yes this fan not working is a very serious thing you need to take care of it.

My CPU hangs at low 40's C same for GPU Ambient Temp here 25C

Ok will have to do that, the only problem is that I had to move to Turkey job related so it will be a task to get a replacement fan here...

Thanks a lot Clintlgm...
