No matter how many drivers I download from Asus or elsewhere, none make my Ethernet Cable work, only Wireless.
I downgraded my G750JX to Windows 7 and still missing a few drivers.
YORGOS, did you try the Windows 8 download for the LAN driver from the JX support area? The README mentioned Windows 7 support.

"The driver installation package contains the Qualcomm Atheros AR81Family Gigabit/Fast Ethernet Controller Driver.
This README file explains how to install the driver and installation package on a machine running one of the following operation systems:
Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP x64, Windows Server 2003 x64, Windows Vista, Windows Vista x64, Windows 7, Windows 7 x64, Windows 8, Windows 8 x64"
The Windows 8.1 x64 LAN driver has the same README, so I would try that first

This should be true of other 8.0 and 8.1 installers, check them, you might find support for Windows 7 by using the "original" setup.exe file instead of the Asus wrapper Setup installer, and sometimes you can just unzip the .exe or .zip and point the Device Manager driver installer to the unpacked directory and the driver can be installed that way too.
Let us know how it works out
