Any Plans for a future 990FX ROG Board ?

Hey Guys ,
I am really wondering why your AMD boards do not seem to get the same kind of attention that intel boards do ?
There are a few things I would love to see happen , such as , thermal armor , ROG front base connectivity , M.2 , SATA express (to a lesser degree) , and possibly add a wifi go , to a 990 fx based board .
I guess my question would be 'Is there any chance we will see a ROG AMD Crosshair V Extreme style Mobo That has these features along with the ones we did manage to get with the formula z ?"
The Price of such a board does not matter I would buy one even if it was up there with your Intel boards , I just want to be able to use the same rog equipment that intel gets without downgrading my FX 9590 to an accelerated processor , I have spent too much time and money moving forward to want to go backward lol .
Anyway please respond if there is any chance that these concepts will grace a new ROG AMD motherboard you dont have to say when or anything just let me know if it is likely or not I dont want to switch to intel I don,t care how much better they are.

Best Regards ,
Ronnie C.

hi answer briefly and clearly it will not be because Intel is considered a top producer and spends kalasalnye money on marketing and the introduction of innovations , at least AMD is moving in this direction and it is used by those people who know the price of AMD ie quality = price, because they do not see the sense to sell customers what they do not need , it follows that the market is bought AMD lower than intel means manufacturers such as Asus and other items that are more favorable to do will be in demand and not lie around on the shelves as progress does not stand still further , I think everything is clear
Ryzen 9 7950x (CPU) || Crosshair 670E Extrem (1510 Bios) (Motherboard) || F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR (C30 6000Mhz 1.4V) (RAM) || NZXT Z73 (Cooling) || PowerColor Red Devil Limited Edition RX 7900 XTX (GPU) || Samsung 980 PRO NVMe 1Tb (Hard Drive) || Samsung 980 Pro NVMe 2Tb (Hard Drive) X 2 || Seasonic Vertex gx-1200 (Power Supply) || Samsung odyssey g8 oled (Monitor) || Asus ROG Strix scope TKL (Keyboard) || ASUS ROG Gladius II (Mouse) || Win 11 Pro 22H2 (Operating System)

All those things that you just mentioned are gimmicks. Why would you drop all of that money on a motherboard for a non-functioning heat shield? A ****ty integrated wifi card? We already have SATA 3, just not M.2. While you may be saturating your PCI Bus with data when using M.2 I'd be willing to wager money that you couldn't tell the difference between M.2. or 2 SSD's in RAID 0.

Hello

Additional resources are not going to be spent on a platform that is going on 4 years old. If AMD would produce something new for the market the 990FX platform is aimed at and it was able to successfully compete with the competition ASUS would be the first to support it. Until then it makes little sense to make additional investments in this segment.

If some speculations about the roadmap are right, AM3+ and the current FX cpus will (must) last until 2016.
And until the next socket is affordable maybe mid/end 2016.

I wonder how this will work out, but i guess with 990FX ROG its the best base to get over that time.

This year you will see new AM4 boards, so AM3+ and 990FX chipset is "dead" and very oldschool. Thsi chipset is modern version of 890FX so basicaly its since 2009.
AM4 will be new and modern chipset similar in schema as Z170 or FM2+ (no hypertransport and northbridge outside at the motherboard)
So you can focus at AM4 ROG ,-) Im sure, we will see at least one AM4 ROG product.
If you need older platform as price/ration I can recommend Asus 970 Pro Gaming/AURA with M2, USB3.1 ports. And good for OC also 🙂
