    Nah, you're welcome....all questions I had when I started too.Yeah, if auto works fine then leave it there...its quiet. If another game really taxes the GPU and puts temps where the card might throttle then think about the fan curve....

    Yeah I'll just leave it on auto for now then and once again thanks for the advice!

    Just for the sake of comparison, I would run with the case open to see the difference in cool-down times - it's a good way to see how effective is the air flow through your case. But then, that's the kind of thing I do

    Thanks I might give it a try I think it's just the Heaven benchmark that really heats it up, after normal gaming it doesn't get very hot and goes back down to a good idle temp within 10 mins.
