What are the max temps you should see for the VRM during a stress test? Also, how do people actively cool the VRM? A blowhole fan in the side of the case? Is there any fan mount that attaches directly to the VRM heatsink?

I don't have an exact number for you.

But the rule of thumb is to keep it as low as possible. When stress testing, make sure you cool it actively with a fan. As long as the airflow is adequate, you have nothing to worry about since the DirectCU cooling technology does an amazing job of dissipating the heat from the VRM zone.
