[Q] Does G750JZ support Surround Sound ? 5.1?
Hi,
Iam unable to make my surround speakers working. Even optical output runs in stereo. It seems odd to me the hiend Laptop as Asus G750 would have only stereo capabilities.
Any advices?

Realtek HD audio on the G750JZ does support 5.1 surround, but I am unsure of 7.1 support. As toronto suggested; check your Realtek HD Audio Manager application. It's probably a configuration not set.

I have tried that. I can´t make a selection in realtek menu. And if i´m connected via optical, there are no setting to set number of speaker at all only equalizer. New drivers from realtek site are still no-go.

Still no one? I have no more ideas.
Maybe to modify realtek SW somehow?
